Beloved Companion
*Trails fingers through his hair, along either side of his head* Husband, King, they are interchangeable, I think. *Grins* But I quite like it too. Both of them.

-Feeling the fingers upon his dark locks, he smiles and presses a soft kiss against Achilles’ lips.- I suppose they are…but I adore the title of MY Achilles more than anything. -small chuckle-

Puking rainbows over here, guys.

-tilts head- How is it possible for one to do such a thing? Or are you sick? If so, I may have the proper herbs to fix this.

Mmm…nothing. Come here, /husband/ of mine.

-smiles and walks over to him- Hmm…really? Are you sure? -wraps arms around him- Husband. I am definitely enjoying this word.

Good evening, everyone!

-Every second they stood there ticked away slowly, as if time were stopping for the two of them so they could savor this night. His hand resting in that of his soon to be husband, Patroklos could not hear a sound, save for their beating hearts that echoed in a way only those two knew how to listen to. However, this train of thought was broken when he began to hear Achilles speak causing a soft tinge of color to crawl up and onto his cheeks. When the last word was spoken, the urge to grab and embrace his beloved was absolutely burning inside his chest but Patroklos resisted. The kiss was to wait until the end, correct? Taking a moment to compose himself, he thought long and hard of what to say. After all, he had not planned his vows as of yet and Achilles was always much better at poetry than himself. With  a short sigh and quick prayer to the muses, he moved forward one step to speak.-

My beloved, you were always a man of both action and of words. I knew when we met that I was going to fall prey to so much trouble… -a soft laugh left him- if only because I was going to fall so deeply under the spell of your beauty.

No, I know you always say how more handsome I am but I speak of beauty in more than just your appearance. You are dedicated soldier, one with a fighting form so flawless that even Hercules himself should envy you. You have a mind for leadership, in a way that no matter how you are tempted to make one decision, you take a moment to seek company or train until a proper one comes forth. And most importantly, you are so kind and completely dedicated to anyone who has gained your trust.

It was these traits and more that made me realize how beautiful you were, even at a young age, and helped me to fall in love with you. Not a day goes by that I am not reminded how truly wonderful you are, especially since I have stood by your side through years past, years of the present, and the many to come in our future.

Achilles, my love, my beloved, mine…you are the greatest person to have ever walked into my life. You gave me wings to help me fly after years of feeling grounded and even now my heart soars at the sight of you…the thought of you…!

I love you, I have and always will be by your side, and I am so happy to say that I can do both forever.

*Achilles ignored the tears as they formed in his eyes, and he couldn’t help but to bring his lovers hand to his lips as he spoke to kiss along the top of it, and along each knuckle. He wanted to say something in return, but the priest cut in with the ceremonial sayings, blessings … and the golden warrior repeated everything that the priest had advised him to, such was tradition at weddings, he assumed. His azure eyes never left the emerald ones in front of him as he spoke, though the words were quite dry for his tastes. He grinned at the thought, repeating them nonetheless*

-Patroklos looked to Achilles with nothing short of adoration and love, his hands squeezing that of his lover upon being kissed. He saw the tears and wished to help brush them away but instead chose to stand and listen to the other as he spoke. Once done, he repeated the words, grinning more and more as he did so. A soft chuckle fell from his lips as he finished as he could not ignore the happiness that was growing more and more inside him. Once finished, he waited for the next step, eagerly fighting the desire to kiss Achilles right in the middle of the priest’s words.-

*He let the tears fall loosely about his cheeks as he presented Patroklos with his new ring, the wedded ring, and slipped it upon his finger, grinning all the while. His grin only broadened when his own ring was placed upon his finger, and he could not help but to chuckle softly at his own reactions to the things that were happening and being said, though he listened to the priest as he spoke, but the words were incoherent to him until finally he heard the ones he had been waiting most eagerly for, and when they came he all but lunged at Patroklos, placing both hands on either side of his face as he claimed his lips in a searing kiss*

-Patroklos barely glimpsed at the small band of metal being placed upon his hand when it became his turn to do so. Grinning, he did so and then kept his now husband’s hands intertwined with his own. He looked into the eyes of Achilles, his own tears beginning to fall upon looking at the other. His heart threatened to burst right out of his chest as they stood there, waiting for the last words to speak and  then quickly pressed himself against Achilles, locking into a passionate embrace that expressed their new life as a married couple.- My Achilles…my husband, Achilles…

I’m so glad to see you! -returns the hug, beaming- I’ve been well.

That is wonderful! Artemis…guess what?

*grumbles* Hello, my love.

My dear? What is wrong?

Good evening, everyone!

Artemis! -hugs her- Why yes I have! And how have you been?
